Sergio Giraldo, PhD, MSc, BSc. Received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from los Andes University (Bogotá, Colombia) in 1998, the M.S. degree in Sound and Music Computing in 2012 and the PHD degree in Information and Communication Technologies (Machine Learning and Music) in 2016 from the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in 2012. Also, holds a degree on Jazz Guitar Performance form the Liceu Concervatory (2006, Barcelona, Spain)

He currently participate as a postdoc research assistant within the TELMI European Project at the Music Technology Group from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain. His research interests include Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence,  Computational Models for Expressive Music Performance,  Jazz Music Performance, Acoustics, and Audio Signal Processing.

Postdoc research assistant on the UPF contribution to the TELMI project.
