Antonio Camurri is Full Professor at Casa Paganini – InfoMus, DIBRIS – University of Genova where he teaches Human-Computer Interaction; founder and scientific director of Casa Paganini – InfoMus; member of the Executive Committee of the IEEE CS Technical Committee on Computer Generated Music; founding member of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence;
Associate Editor of Journal of New Music Research (Taylor & Francis); author of more than 150 scientific publications; chairman of several events, including the 1st Intl Workshop on Kansei – The Technology of Emotion, 1997;

Track on Kansei Information Processing at the IEEE International Conference SMC’98 and SMC’99; V International Gesture Workshop, 2003; ENACTIVE 2005 International Conference; New Interfaces for Musical Expression – NIME 2008.
Co-Editor of the special issue of IEEE Multimedia on Multisensory Communication and Experience through Multimedia, 2004. He is co-owner of patents on software systems. He coordinated EU projects in FP5, FP6, FP7 and H2020.
